Getting older is hard for anyone to accept but it is especially hard for athletes. We define ourselves based on our physical abilities and the work put in, in order to compete against others. Aging slowly limits what our bodies can be capable of and at the same time increases the risk of injury as well as the length of time it takes to recover. However, this doesn't mean you should quit. Embrace the opportunity to gain knowledge and pay respect to the gifts you possess by continuing to move forward, because the one thing that will never decline is the joy you get from training.
